Product Description

The original single-barrel bourbon, from one of America's most popular producers, first introduced in 1984. Matured in American white oak barrels, it has aromas of ripe fruit, citrus and spice, followed by oak, vanilla, chocolate, toffee and beeswax. The palate is full-bodied and spicy, with notes of cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, vanilla and ginger.

    The most wonderful bourbon. So smooth. Wonderful taste. First bought for me in America. Not easy to get. Now I’m buying it for myself over here and it’s not cheap but worth every penny. Just bought another one as a special gift for a friend.

    Ignoring the connections to John Wick, this is Bourbon Whiskey is the best I have ever tasted. Mine was dumped on20/03/23 from barrel No 264. Individually selected, filtered and bottled by hand at 93 proof. End result is a bourbon with extra flavour, and an incredible bouquet. It is so smooth then warming and a wonderful after taste. This is the best, well it has to be if John Wick drinks it ;-)

    So its Blanton's, 'John Wick Monies', and you will need a Gold Coin to buy one lol :D but you're probably asking me right now, just tell me is it worth the hype, well no and yes (sigh), its a citrus bomb bourbon and complex just as much in its aromas as it is in taste, you really need to have an open mind and like more fruit/spice forward flavours if you want to enjoy this sipper, the vanilla and caramel is there but if you want a simple find that just resembles those of toffee and sugar notes i would go with Makers Mark 46 or better yet Woodford Reserve Double Oak, sometimes simple is better, but hey its also about mood too, you know what im talking about here ;) i payed £80 for this, i wouldn't pay anymore than that, is it worth it? yes i think so for its complexity! Enjoy your Bourbon ?
