Introduced in 1984, Blanton’s Single Barrel was the first bourbon to be released as a single cask. Today it's one of the best-known names in American whiskey and offers ripe fruit, citrus and dry spice on the nose, with layers of oak, vanilla, chocolate, toffee and beeswax beneath. The palate is full-bodied and warming, led by cinnamon, cardamom, clove, ginger and vanilla.

    Last year, I walked from Ohio over the bridge that straddles the Ohio River into Kentucky just to get a bourbon and Blanton's did not disappoint. I now had the opportunity to relive that experience by buying a bottle of here and wow, I was back there again......just the best bourbon I've ever tasted.

    Ignoring the connections to John Wick, this is Bourbon Whiskey is the best I have ever tasted. Mine was dumped on20/03/23 from barrel No 264. Individually selected, filtered and bottled by hand at 93 proof. End result is a bourbon with extra flavour, and an incredible bouquet. It is so smooth then warming and a wonderful after taste. This is the best, well it has to be if John Wick drinks it ;-)
