Always tastes good, never harsh, with whatever you mix it with or neat. I don't get into identifying sub-notes of Austrian chocolate, dried gooseberries or apple pie spice. But I will say Black Velvet is very drinkable for the price, slightly sweet, and consistent from first sip to last. It is an improvement over Canadian Mist , Canadian Club or Windsor . Cheers, you will enjoy it!
