Product Description
The new 46% Amruts are a very different proposition to the pleasant but unexciting original release. At the higher strength this 24ppm peated effort fairly fizzes along the tastebuds. This is excellent - hugely improved stuff from a distillery coming along in leaps and bounds.

I have tasted Fusion and it is lovely compared to other Indian whisky brands. You will never desire to drink other whisky is my experience
Amrut Peated at 46% has been my favorite single malt, I also like the Peated cask strength version, however; the new grey labeled versions of the 46% are not the same, no longer my favorite, perhaps spending less time in cask, maybe I will revisit one day
Jesus, this is good! Very, very fruity the first seconds with a fresh and dry peat developing and a long, dry and woody aftertaste. Very interesting and pleasant, reminds of Highland Park, but more fruity and subtle.
Incredible! Somewhere between Ardbeg 10 yo and Talisker 10 yo. Peat comes from Islay but this is both unique yet familiar. In a blind taste test I would think this is Islay whisky. Smokey, peppery, with almonds, bacon, fruit. Absolutely phenomenal. One of those you sip and look longingly at the bottle thinking. "Wow, how did you do that!?"
Lovely Peated whisky with slight armond taste
