Corner Creek Reserve Bourbon
What a lovely smooth drop! Will definitely be purchasing again!
Definitely a young Bourbon. Very astringent. When first poured it smelled like varnish and alcohol. I let it rest to open up for about 15 minutes and it didn’t improve much. Lots of bitter spice and had to really search for any nice qualities in its flavour, finally found some sweetness and oak but that’s about it, and it doesn’t last long it’s a very short finish. Not the worst, but definitely much better Bourbons out there for a lesser price. Would take a regularly Wild Turkey or Makers Mark over this any day. Even Eagle Rare 10 is in a much better class than this but doesn’t cost as much.
Makes an excellent change from a Single Malt. Very surprised and delighted at the smoothness and finish. Pity it is not more readily available.
My oh my, this is so lovely and smooth.
as good a bourbon as you can find. well worth the price.
