    This was one of the first whiskeys I ever tried. Along with this and Talisker these are my favourite 2. Some 20 years later I'm still dipping both

    To Old to Die Young

    Intrigued by the pairing of this Founders' reserve with a cheese and the 12 year Old with a Parmesan . We bought a bottle of each and found they do work ok with the cheeses. Nice balanced flavour for drinking on their own too. A splash of water improves the flavour of the founders reserve for me.

    A bit disappointing. It's not as good as the 12-year-old. The flavours seem to lack any real development and finish overall. Drinkable, but maybe a touch young and immature.
