    Matt,

    Hate the term smooth when describing whiskey, feels like only exceptions should be mentioned as "rough". (Eg. you wouldn't describe a whiskey as "very fluid") That said it's a very smooth, goes down easy thanks to moreish notes of vanilla, raisin, with a pronounced dry woody finish. Very drinkable and inoffensive on all fronts. Not pushing any envelopes but I paid close to half of the listed price on here (not during a sale) and got a very satisfying drink.

    Thin and bitter. Even the cheap blends have more depth of flavor. This whiskey sells well where I live. Because it’s a cheap single malt (I paid 14 GBP. And even that was too much.) A shame, considering how pleasant the 10 Year old is. I suggest avoiding this and buying the 10.

    I would have done better with a bottle of Teachers....even cheap Bells is better than that.

    Excellent Whiskey. I like it straight. But when in the mood I mix 2 ounces of whiskey to 2 ounces of tonic water. Very refreshing. Highly recommended. Cheers
