Tomintoul 14 Year Old
Product Description

Tomintoul 14 Years Old is a more robust expression than previous iterations, aged in ex-bourbon casks, this whisky demonstrates a sweet and buttery style with dashes of toasted nuts and spices. You can expect aromas of sugared almonds, baked pear and lemon curd on the nose, complemented by cinnamon, oat biscuit and hints of freshly cut grass.

    Anonymous,

Amazing whisky. Lemon/ginger/lemon grass/Grapefruit Sherbet. Quite a unique genre of whisky and very well executed. The spirit dominates the cask. I recommend adding 1-1.5 teaspoons of water to optimize the experience. Ralfy gave it a 91. I totally agree with his mark and analysis. It is a thing of beauty.

A whisky with excellent value for money. Should be enjoyed with a little dash of water to make flavours come alive

    BillW,

Came across this in a whisky advent calendar last Xmas and immediately decided to buy some. A superb Speyside malt, my favourite this year. Plenty of honey and malt and a just a hint of island character. Absolutely no vices. Wonderful!

  • Corky,

A lovely sweet dram. One which definitely benefits from a very little water. Not the same without it. I will be buying again.
