Sweeter than expected, more of a dessert drink than an everyday brandy, I've noticed that when the bottle is nearly empty I've seen it topped up maybe with a clear spirit such as Bacardi ? So it'll be interesting to see how long the flavour will last.

A real taste of Japan. I'm a big fan of umeshu, as an alternative tipple, and this Choya (with added ume plums in the bottle) is a real treat. Great straight or over ice.

Umeshu is absolutely gorgeous, the delicious scent of Japanese plum really permeates in this sweet liquor. Try it with tonic, orange juice or even milk with lots of ice.

I am complete novice as far as wine is concerned, but I know what I like and this is good. I bought two bottles at the Duty Free shop at the airport in Tokyo and I'm hoping it taste the same as what I had there.

Fascinating - complex apricot, plums, christmas cake, dried fruit. Sweeter than I expected (medium sherry?). I imagine this would make a superb icecream or sorbet. You wouldnt drink more than a liqueur glass. The whole fruit in the bottle are even better than the drink. No stones or anything.
