For the Beverage Tasting Institute, this is the world's No. 1 bourbon, with 99 points. For a bourbon to be aged for so long is almost unheard of, but this really delivers. Outstanding.

These guys that say to "sip it neat" freak me out. How else would anybody enjoy any top bourbon. Pappy, GTS, WLW, THH, S18, ER17. Of course neat. Like nectar from the Gods.

I have tried a lot of Bourbons but Pappy Van Winkle 20 year old is by far the best I have ever tasted so far. Sept. 2012

    one word, beautiful

Received a bottle for my 33rd b'day. What a surprise! Unlike any other bourbon I've tasted. Wonderful balance of taste and potency. Rich in caramel and earthy aromas. The smell and distinct taste of the oak was rich enjoyable and not dominant. You will be enjoying the taste for sometime as the finish is long and distinguished. Enjoy.

this is good, but for the same money its not as good as the george t stagg. u get far more bang for your bug with the stagg.

by far the best bourbon I've tasted. a pricey tipple but well worth it - I'll definitely be having more.

More complex than the Van Winkle 12-year Special Reserve, but not overwhelmingly better. The Pappy 15-year is decadent too. I would definately recommend the 20-year bottling ahead of the 23-year, but they're all so good it's hard to tag one, "best".

My favorite Bourbon. Let it breathe a bit. Enjoy the caramel aromas and wonderfully long finish. Deserves to be sipped neat. Just the right balance of flavor and strength resulting in a smooth kick. Add a great cigar (or not) and enjoy the luxury.

    A bottle of liquid happiness!

Bit of a disappointment this one. Far too sweet, not a patch on the Stagg.
