    Dave J,

    I'd agree entirely with Andy S' review: it's an ideal mixing rum. Gently sweet, perfectly mellow, no offensive notes, but equally nothing overly exciting either. If you're used to Gosling's black seal and want something "lighter" for mixing, then this is a great choice. Otherwise though, I'd stick with the black seal.

    A very tasty gold rum. Light to mix well but with lots of flavour.

    Bought some today and it has a very nice, mellow flavour. For 'run of the mill' mixing Rum as I would call this you cannot go wrong. I normally favour Chairmans Reserve or Doorlys XO but this is slightly different and worth a try for sure...
