Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose: Fragrant, aromatic nose, with subtle aniseed, crushed juniper berries and lemon peel. Background herbal notes with a hint of black olive. Savoury, not sweet.
Palate: Rich, succulent black olives, then a wave of aromatic herbs, with thyme and rosemary to the fore plus a little lemon for freshness. Soft, smooth texture; well balanced.
Finish: Rich and juicy, with soft aniseed notes and a touch of lemon peel. Savoury and refreshing.

1/4 part Canada Dry 3/4 part Gin Mare on the rocks. Trust me.

It has made two ladies very happy. Can't believe how quickly the bottle empties though!

Recently found Gin after 30 years plus of abstaining due to bad experiences as a youngster!!!! Have started to try a few and this beats the rest, I've even converted Hendricks lovers. Try it with a couple of strawberries and a couple of basil leaves. Simply divine on a warm summers eve.... enjoy!

I bought this at duty free on my way back from Gatwick, and this makes for the best gin and tonic I've ever had. Just exquisite. I'm seriously turning alcoholic; it's that good.

-
Stunning gin. On holiday and have tried with Fevertree and 1724 tonics and the Chilean one shades it for me. Serve with a sprig of rosemary. The future is Catalonian!

Most unique aromatic gin I've ever tasted. Had this gin and tonic at Espa?a tapas bar in west end Vancouver. At first I was more intriqued by the amontillado in their conconction but as soon as I had a whiff of the floral/citrucy blend of gin mare I knew I was in for a lovely surprise. It left a beautiful taste with every sip. I'm hooked. Will be scouring the Interet to find it.

Got served this in Majorca when they had ran out of Bombay Sapphire I was not willing to try it at first but the waiter persuaded me and first taste blew my mind, it''s beautifully unusual and now my favourite xxx

An outstanding, flavourful gin we first tried in Lisbon. On our first tasting the bar added grapes and orange slices. This was a bit unusual as I am a lemon/line purist only. The second try had chopped basil as an ice cube. Stunning! I''ll try this back home though finding Gin Mare here in Vancouver will be a challenge.

I had a had the perfect Gin & tonic in Saboc, Barcelona, by recommendation of our host of Gin Mare, Fevertree tonic with lime rind in the heartland of this beautiful gin, Catalonia
-
I had my first Mare G & T at an excellent Vietnamese restaurant in Salzburg (of all places). Nothing comes close to Gin Mare with plenty of ice, Fever Tree tonic, and a sprig of Rosemary. Still can''t get over how special it is aftyer a good amny of them over several months!

I'm drinking my first gin mare and tonic at Bar Paradox in Dresden, Germany, and this is my new favorite, it's amazing. Sorry that I can't be more specific, just try one!
-
A must for any gin collection you won't find a more distinctive gin wonderfully herbaceous on the nose with briney olives on the palate. I serve with a Mediterranean tonic and a small rosemary sprig(other wise it takes over) a basil leaf and a couple of green olives, it sounds strange, it smells strange but it just works! 90/100

Just had this wonderful drink sat in the sun in Mijas, Spain. Like Bill I had mine with Fevertree tonic, lots of ice and a sprig of Rosemary and it was the just bliss. Can't wait to get my bottle and introduce it to friends when we get home!!!

I first tried this in Cairns, Australia at my favourite bar the Salt House. Fell in love with the amazing flavours and aroma. No gin I have ever tried beats this one.
