    • Nose

Big and peppery to start, with rye and caraway seed following. Toffee sweetness sits at the back.

    • Palate

Intense and layered, with waves of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, hazelnuts and mint.

    • Finish

      Long and spicy.

    • Nose

Big! Peppery, spicy, lots of rye and caraway seed, but still fresh, with some toffee sweetness in there, too.

    • Palate

Beautiful concentration, with waves of spicy cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, toasted hazelnuts and a faint, fresh, minty note.

    • Finish

The wide-ranging spiciness lasts for a very long time.

    • Comment

This is a big-hitting bourbon, loaded with punchy spice. Absolutely delicious.

    Martin,

Love this. Have always been a fan of Maker's Mark, Buffalo Trace and Bulleit, probably in that order, but this is different. Hard-hitting, with a deep rich flavour that really lingers (in a good way). It reminds me of Lakes No 5, an atypical English Whisky - not easy drinking, but a nice challenge, to be savoured and remembered.

    Big D,

Without doubt one of the best bourbon for your cash. I've been trying lots of different bourbons over the years as we all do but this is just lovely. Its only bettered I believe by the Wild Turkey rare breed but thats a whole other animal or should I say bird.
