Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes

  • Tasting Notes by Stuart P

    • Nose

Very fresh and clean, with the soft perfume of zesty lime.

    • Palate

The limes really come through, making this incredibly refreshing. With tonic, the citrus bite remains.

    • Finish

Fresh and clean, with the lime gently fading.

    • Comment

Nothing artificial about this – Rangpur sings with limey freshness. More punchy than Tanqueray No.10, but without the dominant juniper note of the Export Strength, this is a welcome addition to the range.

    NK,

Been having this delightful liquid for the past several years, but sadly it's off and on the shelves most of the time. I got a few bottles last year in Mumbai where I reside and woefully this year, not a single bottle available. Having said that, this a stirling quality gin with the right botanical and the right balance. The added subtle flavour of the Rangpur lime adds zest and a level of freshness compared to Himalyan spring water. There is crispness, tantalizing aroma and a great taste to this gin - 5 stars.

    E. Ernest,

I have been a Single Malt Scotch drinker (Lagavulin) for decades. I was looking for something a bit lighter and cooling for summer. I picked up a bottle of the Rangpur Lime gin and was delighted with its taste and refreshment value. Later I mixed it with some Simply Limeade and, in an instant, had a great, quick, easy, refreshing drink.

    Thorne,

The best gin . Subtle hint on lime. Just add tonic and ice and you have a delightful refreshing drink. Why is it so hard to come by.

    Elizabeta,

A tangy twist on the classic London Dry, Tanqueray Rangpur offers a refreshing twist on your palate. Notes of zesty lime is clear and crisp that is well distinguished from tonic. A pleasant edition of Tanqueray that must be tried.
