I made a cocktail which I called a "Rum Bu**er" (*=g) which is equal portions of fresh sqeezed lime, creme de Bergamote and golden Mount Gay rum - shake over ice and pour. Sensational success at a recent party

I wouldn’t describe its taste as bergamot, but it is pleasant. Try a ‘Perfect Earl Grey’: equal parts creme de bergamote, dubonnet (or another sweet vermouth) and a dry vermouth.
