Customer Rating
A more sherried style, with the soft, creamy complexity and gentle, sophisticated palate and mouthfeel that Bunna's aficionados treasure. Handsomely presented, this is a delicious, contemplative dram. Picked up the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010.

My son Marc Jr. introduced me to this 25year old Bunnahabhain Scotch a few years ago, and when I traveled to Scotland myself last year, I asked several people "what was the best Scotch? "they replied, 25 year old Bunnahabhain " I have to agree, it now is one of my favorites as well. Even if it is the hardest to spell..

If this was a perfume there would be far fewer single women.

These guys know how to do it right. It starts out, of the (well, my) nose with a toffee-vanilla-creamy invitation, maybe a touch of perfume. It hits the tongue with sweet caramel, more of that vanilla creaminess. And then finally, as it finishes, do I detect just hints of that warm smokiness, fruity, caramel, vanilla,...what else is that? Delicious. It is pricey, and the 12-year is perhaps a better value-to-price ratio, but I'm not bemoaning it. Fabulous.
