I had previously tried the VS cognac and thought was nice and smooth. This VSOP is also smooth but has more depth of flavour. A very nice cognac for those who want something a bit more than a "supermarket brand", but don't wish to go into the higher cost bracket.

Very nice, warming liquorice flavours. ideal if you're looking for a bottle under ?50 that is better than anything you can get in the supermarkets
