A dark-mahogany-coloured sweet oloroso sherry, great when chilled or even served with a block of ice. Made from a blend of Palomino, Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel, which is aged in a solera system for at least four years.

Very sweet oloroso. Dark mahogany, almost ebony. On the nose, dried nuts and faint aroma of raisins, muscatel and toasted sugar. Smooth and velvety with a warm palate owing to its alcohol content. A long finish.

Why is it so, that here in Germany and Denmark the W & H Sherries only have 15 % Alc. Vol. and other countries 19,5 % ? .

It is a number of years since we have had the opportunity of tasting again this delicious sherry. For some reason it has left our shores, being replaced with nothing of its qaulity or flavour. Our wine supplies have increased, as have other spirits but as far as sherry is concerned, it is time it was revived and we were given the opportunity of again purchasing Williams & Humbert Walnut Brown Oloroso Sherry. Why are we denied such choice and flavour? It is shown online as being available elsewhere at reasonable costs. Why then cam we not be given the opportunity of again tasting and enjoying this wonderful sherry?
