Decent for the price but not stellar. Overall I found this whisky a tad bland. A really soothing smooth drink, but lacks the character to it to make it stand out. Nice caramel smell, pleasant on the nose. Predominantly toffee taste, with maybe the slightest hint of spice. Aftertaste is pleasant and smooth. Overall I'd consider it a decent dram, that is extremely easy to drink. Would recommend to people trying to get into whisky or who have simply never tasted it, but there are definitely more special whiskies at the price.

This is a big juicy deeply sherried Speyside malt. It has much more character than the 10. If, like me, you enjoy the Macallan 10, give this a try. Due to the richness and sweetness of such malts they are great 'digestifs'.

This is a great drop. Almost liquoricey at times, the ripe fruit flavours don't diminish the seriousness and cultured aberlour classic hues

With this I have started my love with the single malts:) As with first love still have to come back to this classy dram from time to timr:)
