Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose
An aromatic blast of citrus to begin with – orange and lemon oil – then soft aromas of toffee, roasted almonds and malted biscuits follow. Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.
Palate
The fresh citrus notes continue on to the palate, joined by sweet toffee, malt and oat biscuits. Very clean and refreshing.
Finish
The gentle maltiness fades lightly.
Comment
A wonderful aperitif, this is subtle and moreish. A delight.

A reference whisky for the honey/fruit/floral flavour profile. An affordable introduction for new drinkers, but will personally continue with the excellent Dalwhinnie 15 for this particular style.
Quality whiskey but not my taste, its more sweet with no tones of smoke.
Typical floral/honeyed Speysider.Nothing stands out to give it a wow factor.Easily drinkable but it wouldn't be my first weapon of choice.2.75/3
Very smooth taste. My wife who is a non whiskey drinker likes it. No smokiness but a lovely rich finish.
Really tasty whiskey. Would definitely recommend.
