This really is one of the best Pastis money can buy, so much better than the usual mass market offerings and almost at the same price. Tried it for the first time at a French bistro after years of drinking lesser stuff and I have yet to find a better pastis.
I thought that I knew and loved Pastis. Then my son bought me a bottle of this nectar. You haven't tasted Pastis until you have tasted this one. The others are imho coarse and acrid compared to this.
Present for my husband who much prefers it to Pernod or Ricard. Must add have used Whisky Exchange twice now and can't praise them enough for their huge choice, fast delivery and safe packing.
A delicate concoction, inoffensive, subtle, not sugary.
A very fine pastis, more herbal than the well knowns and much less bluntly overpowering.
