Mezan 1998 Grenada Rum Reviews
Tasting Notes by Simon Difford (CLASS Magazine)Clear, pale golden. Creamy fudge and mocha coffee nose with fruit chews and slight vinegar aroma. Light/medium bodied with espresso coffee, light oak and faint fruit. Mocha coffee and fudge returns on a lightly spiced, delicately oaked finish. 4/5

Those tasting notes left by Simon Difford of CLASS Magazine are very accurate. This rum has a strong hint of bourbon in the nose, so it must have been aged in bourbon casks. It is far lighter than most, especially for a 12 year old. A very nice rum though, well worth buying.
