Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose
Like walking into a cake shop, with gorgeous aromas of brioche, gingerbread, nutmeg and vanilla, along with some fragrant orange peel and a touch of toasty oak.
Palate
Soft mouthfeel, with cinnamon and ginger the predominant notes, with a sprinkling of fresh black pepper. More freshness in the form of orange peel, and a slightly savoury, leather-book note.
Finish
Clean and zingy, with the pepper and ginger lasting longest.
Comment
A real crowd-pleasing Cognac, with all the familiar dried fruits and spice, but this has an extra dimension that refreshes the palate and demands another sip.
