Amazing whisky...does what it says on the tin and then some!
Batch 37: A very full flavored whiskey; nothing subtle about this whiskey. For the price this is a very excellent whiskey. Best whiskey under £50 I have found.
Got my first bottle just before Xmas and now I'm about to order the second. Fantastic stuff! Full-on, in-your-face sherry, fruits, Xmas Pudding in a glass plus the usual vanilla, toffee and some spice. Adding water simply increases the volume and suddenly you find the glass is rather full :-). It's not overly complex, it's simply concentrated excellence. Yum!
Tried this at 'The Mash Tun' down the road from Aberlour Distillery. Not sure which batch number, but was a sumptuous dram. Came consistently top in taste test in majority of our 12 man group.
