The flagship product from the Seychelles's Takamaka Rum is made at La Plaine St Andre distillery on the island of Mahé. A secret combination of local spices create the smooth, velvety character of the rum. Notes of vanilla and caramel lead the palate. This rum is perfect for sipping or mixing.

    Taste more like banana than vanilla which is nice, smooth, sweet and almost creamy, superior to the likes of old j- really do recommend if u like a spiced rum that isn’t just about the vanilla!

    Having sampled and loving Takamaka spiced rum in a York pub I just had to have a bottle to savour at home. I always worry that the taste experience may not be repeated in the confines of home. I was far from disappointed, the flavours of vanilla and spice were perfect. Takamaka is unique and incomparable to other spiced rums out there. A new favourite that’ll be hard to beat.
