Toffee and malt dominate, but still rather lean and clean, with a smattering of apple and pear.

Soft on the palate, with chewy maltiness, and gentle fruit.

I bought a bottle based on the reviews. It isn't bad but I much prefer the flavour of Redbreast.

As an Irish Whiskey drinker this is one of my favourites. It’s my 3rd bottle over the years and would recommend it. I did a review on the Red Spot a couple of months ago but you never used it. The Red Spot is top of the class of the Spot collection but they are all excellent whiskies
