A special 30 year old brandy from Torres, named for the founder of the House, Jaime Torres Vendrell. It's a blend of brandies from their oldest soleras, including Parellada wines originally destined for the Torres 10 aged for an extra chunk of time and a small amount of their rare 1972 Folle Blanche eaux-de-vie.

    I have had so many bottles of this over the years now. I have tried Cognac, Armagnac, Armenian 30yo, other Spanish products & some super premium Australians & I keep coming back to this. It has lifted aromatics of spice, fruit cake/plum pudding, vanilla, caramel, dried figs - so complex. I struggle to find a better VFM option of this age & at this price point. Even the older Armagnacs I have enjoyed (I prefer Armagnac over Cognac) don't have the same allure as this Brandy. It shows distinct parallels to some 15-18 year old sherry cask malts too
