My inlaws are Portuguese from the Madeira island and since they introduced this Cognac to me I haven't found any better and one of the few I enjoy straight.

My dad loved this brandy, so I bought a few bottles from the exchange over the years. I'm now having a glass from the last bottle I bought him and can see why it was his favourite. Creamy smooth.
