My favourite of theKavalan stable. Concertmaster n their basic s.malt were very crafted but uninspiring. The soloists were over the top, so oaky that it tasted like cognac. This is the real deal.
Really enjoyed this whisky! Complex, flavorful and reasonably priced for what I would consider a whisky that I would consider on the higher end of the spectrum.
This whiskey is great on the rocks or with some water. It had great floral smell, fruity complexity, and a smooth light finish. However, avoid drinking this whiskey neat. Did not enjoy the smell or taste when I first drank it neat. Burned going down and could tell it hasn't been aged long enough. Plus the smell reminded me of some cheap whiskey.
