Dalwhinnie 15yo is a good introduction to the delights of single malt whisky – elegant, smooth and medium-bodied, with a light, fruity palate and a whiff of heather on the finish. Part of Diageo's Classic Malt range.Tasting Notes (2)
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Clean and fresh, with heather honey, pears, a touch of toffee and a soft floral note.
Bright and fruity, but also rich, with notes of steamed syrup pudding and sponge cake, with a little cinnamon and nutmeg.
Just enough spice to match the fruit. Lovely balance.

Along with Cragganmore, this is one of the underrated members of the original Classic Six. Quite why has always slightly baffled me. OK, it isn't smokey, but the nose has a deep, soft, honeyed sweetness: think caramelized fruits, hints of thick cream, and a light touch of fennel and sharp citrus. Thick in the centre and very gentle, it's that chunkiness in the middle that is the secret to its beauty.

I favor one of the Isle whiskies, but this one is so smooth I am back for another bottle.
Excellent Whisky very smooth and easy to drink and got a sweet finish. If you like sweet Whisky as I do this is very much worth buying.
Nice light product despite 43%. When it is raining outside your window and the sea breeze is blowing from the ocean, then the best time is to sit by the fireplace and immerse yourself in a glass with this elixir ...
I don't know why, but the 15 year aging just doesn't seem to be enough. The flavor feels sweet and syrup-y, but beyond that, it seems to lack character. It's not a bad whisky, it's just nothing special. It has a similar vibe to the younger versions of Glenlivet.
This is really awesome wid having fruity contains on palate nd specially I love spey side whisky
