Producer's NotesAn old nonsense rhyme has it that 'The wines of Glen... are good for the stomach', and this example would certainly make a perfect digestif. Wonderful cream sherry colour and astonishing beading: with a heavily sherried nose, which also yields caramel and old leather car coats. With water it becomes more chocolatey, with the very slightest thread of smoke and matchboxes and a somewhat scorched note. A big flavour, full of sherry, nuts and raisins; an interesting contrast of sweet start and dry finish. The smoky note turns to brimstone in time, so beware.
