    Charlie,

    Must confess I’m disappointed, have tried several attempts with and without a dash of water but I just get a rather bland flavour with alcohol running the show. My benchmark for this style is the Glenmorangie Nectar D’Or which is altogether fuller and richer as I’d expect from a Sauternes cask. Not bad but on this occasion should have stuck with the tried and trusted!

    Lovely, lovely stuff. Perhaps my favourite whisky so far. Highly recommend it. Very smooth, pleasant taste, reminds me a bit of autumn.

    Ideal dessert malt,

    A very sweet, fruit cake flavour running throughout from initial nosing to the mellow finish, bought on offer as a "let's give this a try". Very glad I did, definitely one for the regular collection.
