Redbreast 12 Year Old Cask Strength Reviews
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose: Rich biscuity aromas and dark, roasted spices, with a touch of mocha, freshened up with some apple and tropical-fruit notes.
Palate: Stewed apples and cinnamon, then the toasty oak kicks in, along with apple, pear and coffee. Water really opens this whiskey up.
Finish: The spice and fruit battle it out for some time – a delicious malt.

Superb. Has reignited my passion for Irish whiskey
Absolutely stunning product, one of the best whiskeys I have ever had. This whiskey is a remarkable achievement
On the nose I got cherry, vanilla, marzipan, cola, and a hint of pepper.
Had my first taste last night outside of Fort Leavenworth, in Marfield's. I did not taste any of the biscuit flavor??? Normally we stay with Kentucky bourbon but since they had a bottle of this 12 year old Redbreast cask strength...why not? It was simply superb. Solid burn but not at all unpleasant for a 114 proof wiskey. Strongly recommended and worth every cent.
If you like Irish whiskey, this will knock your socks off!
My favourite. I find this is better balanced than the regular 12 yr, which tends to get dominated by wood on the nose after a while. Not so this one. On the nose creme br?l?e, a some milk chocolate. creamy. In the mouth, it starts with oak then loads of vanilla, some stewed fruits, strong but still with a smooth malty finish. The best Redbreast for me.
A treasure of a whiskey. I keep bottles in reserve just in case of a cataclysmic event.
Excellent. The normal 12YO Redbreast used to be my favourite this has a lovely smooth taste and the smell is just fantastic
It's my favorite I have had bottle after bottle of this delicious Irish dream I love red breast I can't day enough good about it my father and I call it stopping over for a shot of the world ! Haha
Love it! Finally bit the bullet in Dublin airport, decided to find out what the fuss was about and buy a bottle of Redbreast's finest. Wow! Never imagined a whisk(e)y could be so smooth and yet so satisfying. I'll definitely be back for more.
