    My father's tipple ---- a wee ( large ) drambuie and an ice cube after dinner. He's now 91 years old and thriving !

    I gave my Mother a bottle every Christmas, she took a tot on Christmas Day and finished the bottle on Christmas Eve. No one dare take a tot on penalty of a smack. I never got to taste as it was a whisky. So I’m going to get a small one if i can and see if I can do the same in my old years. Yes it was alway’s in our lives a good memory.

    I always bought my Mum a bottle every year. She loved the drink and a bottle would last her a year. First tot on Christmas Day last tot on Christmas Eve. I did that for years and she always looked forward receiving her gift. Might try it sometime.

    Until recently I always enjoyed Drambuie whisky liqueur mixed in equal parts with a single malt whisky - a rusty nail I believe. I received a bottle of Drambuie 15 year liqueur as a Christmas present, and enjoyed it so much as a drink on its own I bought another. So - depending on my mood, I may still mix a rusty nail, or I may drink this on its own. But 5 stars no question for this Drambuie 15 year liqueur.
