Glengoyne is one of the only Scottish whiskies to be distilled from completely unpeated malt - the malt is allowed to dry naturally before fermentation and distillation begin, resulting in an elegant, medium-bodied style.

This is probably my favourite whiskey. I actually prefer it to the 12 and the 18. The complete lack of smoke makes for a beautifully smooth and full of flavour dram without the after taste. Still full of warmth and body unlike some other newer single malts this is a very satisfying bottle that I highly recommend. Great distillery tour as well.
Can't understand all the 5* reviews, find this a basic tasting dram. Getting apple and the bourbon cask influence but nothing to right home about, actually been drinking it with coke to finish the bottle off.
Absolutely delicious!some single malts taste of old socks, but this one is wonderfully smooth and clean tasting.a drink to be savoured and enjoyed
As a lover of all things Scotch, having determined to discover my most favourite Highlands spirit. We who live here in the remote west Texas portion of the Chihuahuan Desert must abide the locally available products. It's probably no surprise in Scotland that many single malts aficionados live in the parched southwestern US states. Just today discovered Glen of the Wild Geese 10-year in a lovely artistically decorated tin that the purchase of which donates to the Glasgow School of Art. As an artist of sorts, I readily made my purchase and sitting now glass in hand, with my lovely view of mountains that stretch southward into the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, I find the flavour most delightful. For we desert denizens who commit the sin of Scotch on ice, Glengoyne 10-year holds its own and is a smooth transition from the road to the respite of home.
