Product Description
The Classic Laddie is made using unpeated Scottish-grown barley. This refreshingly light single malt combines an array of whiskies from 76 different casks and is a welcome take on an easy-going Islay whisky.
The aroma is reminiscent of a sea breeze and is followed by honey and baked apple. The palate is just as pleasing and has a long citrus, heather-honey finish.

A hint of sea spray, but rich and plush, with punchy fruit and floral aromas.

Enticing mix of creaminess and salinity – rich and refreshing.

Nice balance between the sprightly fruit and tangy sea-spray elements.
Classic Laddie: What's in the bottle?
Bruichladdich's Classic Laddie is a no-age-statement single malt, meaning that all you know from the label is that it's at least three years old – because whisky can't legally be called whisky until it reaches that age.
While they're not, by law, allowed to put more details on the bottle, Bruichladdich want drinkers to know exactly what's in every batch of their whisky. After all, each edition of Classic Laddie is made up of around 76 different casks spanning four different vintages, seven cask types and three barley types – so there's a lot to know!
If you'd like to discover more about what's in your bottle, simply visit the Bruichladdich website and enter the five-digit code on the back to reveal the batch recipe.

Meh...Not great complexity or taste, its just a whiskey. I don't know if I had a bad batch but I didn't taste any fruit or sweetness or flavor for that matter. For the price I'd rather get a Bunnahabhain, Aberlour or Lagavulin.
Great for the price. Drinking it, I don’t get a lot of flavour or depth, but the aftertaste is immense. There are other great whiskies in this price range, but I like this as a different option
I’m sat drinking a glass of this right now. I got this bottle a few weeks ago based on some good reviews and a good price. I have to admit it baffles me a little. To me, there’s not much too it. It’s just an ok whisky. I love they’ve kept it at 50% which all distilleries should learn from. But apart from that I don’t get the appeal… however for some reason I’ve kept going back to it even though I’ve got a lot better whisky on my shelf I always reach for this… I really don’t know why!!??
I found this whisky virtually undrinkable neat. With a good splash of water it was transformed into a sweet, fruity, floral dram with a lingering salty finish. Worth a try
A very easy tasty with ballance and intense perfume!
