A 1997 vintage whisky from Glen Garioch. Although no age is stated, this has been bottled in 2012 which makes it around 15 years old. This shows the distillery's trademark fruitiness, and is bottled at cask strength.Tasting Notes (1)
Tasting Notes from the Producer
Juicy and mouthwatering, with a creamy mouth-coating texture. Spiced pear crumble, ripe banana and toffee are followed by Honeydew melon, ground nutmeg and allspice.

I was recently given a bottle of this as a present. It’s a beautiful whisky! It is a tad on the strong side for me so I’ve added a splash of water each time, which I think brings out some delightful flavours. Fruity, punchy and slightly smokey.
Very good neat, but a drop of water really makes this whisky shine. Tremendous array of flavours, very complex, well worth its price. Overall a great surprise and a great whisky.
Opened this for the first time last evening and REALLY enjoyed this whisky. I've had various other bottles from this distillery and liked them all but this one is special and at this price on the W.E. site is a must-buy. There's so much fruit in this - and honey - which is balanced, to my mind, perfectly with the earthier peaty notes. I know I will savour every dram.
Definitely worth buying. I bought a bottle after a tour of the actual distillery, it's already gone up in price. This is something special as it not only marks their 200 year anniversary, but it's the first whisky they made after production had been stopped for 2 years
This stuff is amazing, great taste and great price at the moment. Grab it whilst you can as this is a small batch release to mark the companies 200th anniversary. Collectors item definitely!! I bought a few to taste and keep.
