A 1977 Tomatin single malt, matured in first-fill Sauternes hogshead for 41 years before being bottled in September 2019 as part of the distillery's Warehouse 6 Collection. Aromas of tropical fruits, ripe apples, rich vanilla and salted caramel fill the nose. The palate offers notes of oak spice, sweet honeysuckle, Chardonnay, baking spices and summer fruits.

    • Colour

      Radiant, golden mahogany.

    • Nose

      Luscious, sweet, nutty-mature liquid fruit-cake dusted with crushed sultana, easing to drier, spicy oak tones.

    • Palate

      Sherry trifle, glacé cherries and muscovado sweetness, all nicely balanced with a spicy, mature oak note of cigar boxes. Deliciously complex.

    • Finish

      Cocoa, vanilla and fudge climb to a dried-date climax.
