Introduced to Glen Garioch's standard range in late 2010, this 12yo is a mix of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, and like the other distillery bottlings since the revamp, has been bottled at a feisty 48%. A real charmer.Tasting Notes (1)

Earthy, stewed fruit.
Rich, mouthfilling, toasty oak, dried fruit, hint of mocha.
Spicy and smooth. Well balanced.

If your thing is unique whisky that tastes like nothing else then you need to give this a try. I don’t know about coffee, but sweet malt, with oak, toast and dried apricots are pretty accurate. Very good whisky that tastes like nothing else. There are a handful that I’ve had out of many that I can say that about and those are usually my favorites.
Wonderful dram . Will definitely buy this again . Again have to mention The Whisky Exchange for their fantastic packaging. All my bottles were very well protected
One of my top shelf, good value too
This is a real beauty. I will always have it around.
I purchased this just for something different, and I was not disappointed. It is bold, and the oak hits hard about mid-taste and stays through the finish, just as the coffee comes to the fore. For me, this is a winter whisky.
