    Aron,

I was looking forward to this, but found it rather dull. Not bad mind, but not deserving of 5 stars

    Kris Connelly,

I usually only drink single malts but was given this as a present. Lovely Whiskey and I'll be buying more for myself

    BookGirl,

Was visiting Ireland, eating lunch at the bar when I glanced up and saw Writers Tears on the shelf. Since I run a bookshop I saw it only fitting to try it. It is a little rough, but delicious once you get past the first sip. My husband and I were on our way back from somewhere when I realized the distillery, Walsh’s, was only 30 minutes out of our way. We made good time and caught the last tour of the day where we learned that this recipe is called Writers Tears because it is a recipe that was popular in the times of the great Irish writers and made as close as possible as well. I not only recommend all their offerings but the tour as well if you ever get the chance!

    Donna P.,

Being a major fan of Irish whiskeys – Red Breast being one of my favorites – I find this mediocre at best. It is not as smooth as anticipated.

    Lee KinCaid,

Very nice after dinner drink. Smooth, mellow flavor with hints of honey. I liked it enough to keep a bottle for sitting on the porch and sipping at the end of the day.
