      Sweeter and fruity with oodles of sweet spice, mango, papaya, and orange peel.

    • Palate

      Toffee popcorn, with heady citrus and tropical fruit. Quite a mouthful.

    • Finish

      Not especially long lasting; rich oak and marmalade notes dominate.

    This is my 2nd Japanese I've tried out and it was great. It was strong at first but with some distilled water it had the sweet taste of some fruit, and bit of vanilla. Excellent work at the Nikka distillery.

    Wonderful surprise. A little sweet but awesome as an after dinner treat. Very unique flavors that are RARE in bourbons and whiskeys. A treat!
