One of the most famous malts in the world. Glenlivet 12yo has a soft smooth balance of sweet summer fruits and the floral notes of spring flowers.Tasting Notes (2)
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Grassy and floral, with a delicate perfume. Soft citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit, joined by nutty notes of almond and hazelnut.
Soft mouthfeel with elegant orange and lemon notes, then some vanilla and toffee adding richness, but this is a delicate, fine-boned single malt with lovely balance and a refreshing character.
The juicy citrus notes linger, inviting you to take another sip.
Producer's Tasting Notes

Light to medium, firm, smooth.
Flowery, peachy, notes of vanilla, delicate balance between sweetness & malty dryness.
Long, gently warming.

It’s my absolute favorite drink, second to none. Great flavor, smooth and satisfying.
Scotch for beginner's, but it's a good entry into the scotch. Speyside whisky are usually are sweet and some have an floral testing with them.
An overaged apple aroma bordering on cider vinegar. Decent amount of oak in the nose with a bit of sweetness. Flavor lines the apple and bumps up the oak with a tannic finish which has a decent bite. Not quite as smooth as I had hoped, but still a decent sipper, and cheap enough to not feel bad about using it in a mixer.
Really surprised how good this whisky was - very smooth with a beautiful long finish - got it on a special offer and hard to beat at the price I paid - can highly recommend!
Smooth, easy drinking, prune/raisin/cocoa flavor, but in a light way, with vanilla sweet, that then runs into a mix of charred oak and raw oak tannins at about the same time. It’s not as complex as that sounds, but it’s fun to drink. The light smoke tannin flavor always has me wanting another pour. The problem with these single malts is that almost all of the good ones all become my favorite, in their own way for what they are.
