Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes

  • Tasting Notes by Stuart P

    • Nose

Grassy and floral, with a delicate perfume. Soft citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit, joined by nutty notes of almond and hazelnut.

    • Palate

Soft mouthfeel with elegant orange and lemon notes, then some vanilla and toffee adding richness, but this is a delicate, fine-boned single malt with lovely balance and a refreshing character.

    • Finish

The juicy citrus notes linger, inviting you to take another sip.

  • Producer's Tasting Notes

    • Nose

      Remarkably flowery, clean & soft.

    • Body

      Light to medium, firm, smooth.

    • Palate

Flowery, peachy, notes of vanilla, delicate balance between sweetness & malty dryness.

    • Finish

      Long, gently warming.

    Will parker,

Maybe it's my palate but I got a bitter or Bland flavor. No sweetness to be had. Brand new bottle, poured a bit over a cube of ice and a TINY splash of water. The warmth wasn't bad even nice feeling it travel all the way to my stomach and it was admittedly very smooth. I'm just not getting the flavors, notes etc that are described.

    Hammer,

I'm more of an Irish Whiskey drinker but this is my go-to for Scotch Whisky...not too smokey.

    Anonymous,

Very smooth Scotch. Nice blended smoky flavour mixed with an essence of fruity notes.

    Nicolas,

Scotch for beginner's, but it's a good entry into the scotch. Speyside whisky are usually are sweet and some have an floral testing with them.
