One of the most famous malts in the world. Glenlivet 12yo has a soft smooth balance of sweet summer fruits and the floral notes of spring flowers.Tasting Notes (2)
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Grassy and floral, with a delicate perfume. Soft citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit, joined by nutty notes of almond and hazelnut.
Soft mouthfeel with elegant orange and lemon notes, then some vanilla and toffee adding richness, but this is a delicate, fine-boned single malt with lovely balance and a refreshing character.
The juicy citrus notes linger, inviting you to take another sip.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Remarkably flowery, clean & soft.
Light to medium, firm, smooth.
Flowery, peachy, notes of vanilla, delicate balance between sweetness & malty dryness.
Long, gently warming.

I’m no expert so I read all the reviews before buying this (discounted in a supermarket)... very excited to try it and to enjoy all these apparently amazing flavours... but oh how dull. I got ‘basic scotch’ as a taste, no honey, no fruit, no wood. I’ll use it as a base for mixers but I won’t buy any more G products, this is the second from them that has left me cold and disappointed. I have decanted the rest of the bottle to see if some air will develop it, I’ve tried with water and ice and just neat... still nothing exciting. Sorry to those who seem to love it.
It has a smooth and silken fruity taste
I’m new to the world of scotch, & this 12 yo was my first venture into the world of single malts. Until now, I had been drinking only blends. This particular scotch blew me away. It’s clean, smooth, & indeed tastes of honey, lemon, with a hint of pear in my opinion. Absolutely wonderful!
This is my entry level whisky for anyone who is a novice. It's clean and only slightly woody. This definitely trends to smooth side, and will have a beginner begging for more flavor.
One of the first scotches I’ve tried. Started out with single malt category. This is a very smooth drinker and motivated me to try many different types. Recommend. Fruity and smooth.
