Nice, though unexpected, smoky flavour with undercurrents of sake. Not a typical rum, to be sure, but absolutely one that you should try, if you have the money. Goes down very smooth, with only a moderate burn as you swallow. For the asking price, this is certainly a solid rum for the more adventurous palate.
