Toffee and bananas up front, with green grassy notes, and gentle ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon spiciness.

Sweet and creamy to start, with soft caramel and toffee. Lemon peel zestiness develops, with tingly cinnamon. Creamy lemon posset with a crunchy bar?.

Light and sweet with more complexity than you might expect. It's not a whisky that you'll be sitting down to examine over hours, but it does have good flavours, that are strong enough to shine through even when mixed.

Bought this for a change and it certainly doesn't measure up to being sweet, smooth etc. It seems to me to be quite abrasive and certainly is one that you have to mix with something to soften it, i prefer nothing added but can't do that with those one and I won't be buying it again! Also the bottle is unwieldy and difficult to pour out of.

Probably not for hardened whisky drinkers, to me it tastes a bit light and sweet. If you drink whisky with mixers and do not like a strong taste this might work. It is 40 proof though in its favour but for my taste a cheaper blended whisky is preferable.

Light without much flavor when drinking neat.

I tried Haig Club a few months ago and it’s now my favourite whiskey. Smooth flavour which is not overpowering. Great with Coke. Highly recommend it
