Ardmore Legacy was introduced in 2014 as a replacement for Traditional. A mix of 80% peated and 20% unpeated malt, this is full-bodied, dry and spicy.Tasting Notes (2)
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Creamy, with appealing savoury notes of cured meat and even a touch of horseradish, with some subtle smoke lurking in the background.
Soft mouthfeel of gentle peat and a touch of menthol, with clove, apple and pear.
The gently warming peat slowly dissipates.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Heather Honey with hints of cinnamon and toffee bonbon. Very subtle hints of peat smoke.
Creamy vanilla spice gives way to more overt smoky charcoal notes, especially with the addition of water. Smoke doesn't dominate and is balanced by the sweet honey and spice flavours.
Full bodied, silky mouth feel with a (trademark Ardmore) dry, tangy and lingering aftertaste, coupled with delicious spice notes.

This is typical of every NAS whisky out there. Tastes of high grade ethanol and little else. What is the point in producing such young nasty rubbish?
A really superb whisky, especially when it's on offer. I stocked up.
A very passable Highland for the money(£18).Peaty,spicy and not too complicated just right for sipping.
Forget the overpriced, fancy dan whiskies out there. This is the best daily sipping dram in my opinion, even better when reduced in the majority of supermarkets, bargain!
Opened up this Malt the other night. Added a dash of water with it,which brought the smokey flavour out and it went down lovely. Had a job to put the bottle back. Will definitely buy another bottle once this ones gone.
