Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose: Rich, meaty and spicy, with classy oak, cinnamon, cigar box and leather. Like wandering through a second-hand bookshop. A little water brings out tart, juicy fruit: gooseberry, greengage and sour plum.
Palate: Still full of life, despite approaching its 30th birthday, this is a robust, full-bodied dram, loaded with black pepper, dry tannins from the oak, leather and sweet spice. Quite a handful.
Finish: The leather and spicy oak last a very long time. A whisky to take your time over.

Exceptionally rich expression of Linkwood.
Sumptuous! great spices, well done BBQ smoked meat and cinnamon hints with a pepper kick in the aftertaste. Delicious and worth the money.
really sophisticated with a fruit garden nose and a waxy, honey and smoky jammy mouthfeel that ads extra comlexity
