1994 was a fantastic year for port, and Croft's release shows off many of the characteristics of the vintage – rich, ripe fruit and elegant. This is one of the best Crofts in living memory.

Producer's Tasting Notes
-
Deep, opaque black/garnet core.
The nose has much more definition and vigour than the ’91 with sweet ripe black cherries, bilberry and violets. Very lifted and lively.
The palate is sweet, ripe and elegant with a lovely poise and tension, certainly the best Croft since the ’66.
Very ripe tannins with black cherries, bilberry, cassis and a minerally quality coming through towards the finish.
A return to form, a lovely Croft with a coquettish quality.

The cork fell to bits sadly. However, once sorted this port tasted fabulous. An excellent vintage port.
