Nose
Light white pepper and a hint of freshly sliced potato. Very clean.
Palate
Creamy turning clean. Black pepper, waxy oiliness and macadamia nuts.
Finish
Clean and rounded. Smooth potato finish with mineral notes.
Potato Power
Chase Potato Vodka is made using three varieties of extra-starchy potato grown on the Chase family farm – Lady Rosetta, Lady Claire and Maris Piper. These potatoes are washed and peeled, before being cooked at high temperatures to starch breaking down the starch into sugars, and are mashed, ready for fermentation. The mashed potatoes are fermented for up to 36 hours, creating a “wort” – or potato wine – which is then double-distilled to create a smooth, creamy vodka.
About Chase Distillery
Nestled in the picturesque Herefordshire countryside, Chase distillery was founded in 2008 by local farmer Will Chase. After 20 years of potato farming, not to mention creating the hugely successful Tyrell’s crisps brand, Chase turned his hand to distilling, using not only the leftover potatoes but also local and seasonal fruits and flowers to add flavour to other bottlings in the range.

I have been looking for a replacement for Ivan The Terrible, which is no longer available due to sanctions. Chase is very, very close. You can sip it straight or mix it with what you like and it is very nearly a match. I would recommend it to anyone with like tastes to mine.
Don't be fooled by this Vodka being British. As potato vodka goes, it's way up with the best, I'd say it is the best. I have drunk vodka from every corner of the world, only one potato vodka from Poland comes close. Smooth like velvet on the pallet., and a reasonable price. Five star +.
I purchased this vodka after a friend's recommendation and it didn't disappoint, super smooth and creamy!
